A really easy way to make a thick mansized meat lasagna. Simple and power-packed !
Ingredients
1 box of no water needed lasagne noodles
2 cans of tomato sauce – flavoured or not : chefs choice
1 large brick of white old cheddar
1 large Spanish onion
Small container 18% cream
Big package of ground lean beef and pork combo : 1lbs
Preparation
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Large casserole dish layer the bottom with some sauce, then layer noodles across, on top of that layer more sauce, ground meat ( see below ) spread out very evenly as the noodles all need to be covered with liquid, then sprinkle your desired amount of cheese, never too much and then drizzle about 3 tbsp of the cream over top and repeat till you’ve reach the limit, top with sauce completely, more cream and add more cheese. Note : the cream will thicken and turn into a cheese like substance. Bake for about an hour or until a knife can easily get through the pasta. Let sit and simmer for 20 mins
- Ground meat:
Finely dice or blend 1 large Spanish onion and throw into into a large heated pan with oil. Sweat the onions out a bit and then add your meat. Chopping it constantly add some salt and pepper, some garlic chopped if you want, some thyme and scallions if you’d like as well. Finley chop it up as best you can. Transfer to lasagna.
